⚠️ WARNING: Disconnect battery before servicing any electrical component near the HVAC system.
Park on level ground, turn off ignition.
Disconnect negative terminal of 24V battery.
Allow time for capacitors to discharge (~2 minutes).
Locate the module inside the HVAC housing behind the glove box or lower dash panel.
Remove interior trim panels carefully (use plastic pry tools).
Take note of wiring routing and mounting position.
Unplug the main sealed connector from the back of the module.
Inspect for signs of melting, discoloration, or corrosion — these indicate poor contact or overload.
Unscrew 2–3 mounting screws (M4/M5).
Gently pull out the unit — avoid damaging the terminals or heat sink.
Insert new unit into place.
Secure with original screws — do not overtighten.
Ensure good contact between the module base and any grounding/mounting surface.
Reattach the waterproof connector firmly until it clicks.
Reinstall all trim parts.
Reconnect battery.
Turn HVAC system ON and test all fan speeds:
OFF → Low → Medium → High
Confirm smooth transitions and no error lights on dash.
