Important Usage & Maintenance Notes

  1. Use High-Quality Diesel Fuel

    • Avoid contaminated or low-grade diesel — causes injector coking and pump wear.

    • Use ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) where required.

  2. Regular Oil Changes

    • Change engine oil every 10,000–20,000 km depending on duty cycle.

    • Use API CK-4/CJ-4 15W-40 or 10W-30 synthetic blend.

  3. Replace Filters on Schedule

    • Fuel filter: Every oil change or 15,000 km

    • Air filter: Clean/blow out every 10,000 km; replace every 60,000 km

    • Oil filter: Replace with each oil change

  4. Maintain Cooling System

    • Check coolant level regularly.

    • Flush and refill every 2 years or 400,000 km (use OAT coolant).

  5. Check AdBlue/SCR System (on Euro V/VI Models)

    • Never run dry — will limit power or shut down engine.

    • Keep dosing valve and NOx sensor clean.
