Confirm correct model: Use SINOTRUK EPC system to verify compatibility with your VIN/chassis.
Inspect new bushing: Check for cracks, delamination (rubber separating from metal), swelling, or deformation.
Clean mating surfaces: Remove rust, dirt, old grease, and debris from thrust rod end eyes.
Avoid contamination: Do not expose to diesel fuel, solvents, or strong alkaline cleaners — they degrade rubber.
Use Proper Tools:
Install using a hydraulic press or dedicated bushing installer tool.
Never strike with hammer — risk of damaging steel core or distorting rubber.
Align and Press In:
Align bushing squarely into the thrust rod eyelet.
Apply even pressure until fully seated (both flanges flush).
Check Final Position:
Ensure center hole remains aligned and undistorted.
No tilting or eccentric installation allowed.
Reassemble Thrust Rod:
Insert mounting pin/bolt through bushing bore.
Torque fasteners to specification.
Final Inspection:
Rotate gently by hand — should move smoothly without binding.
