Installation Instructions

✅ Pre-Installation Checks

  1. Confirm correct model: Use SINOTRUK EPC system to verify compatibility with your VIN/chassis.

  2. Inspect new unit: Check for stripped splines, damaged threads, bent lever arm, or loose mounting bracket.

  3. Clean all mating surfaces: Remove rust, dirt, old grease, and debris from S-cam shaft and brake chamber rod.

  4. Ensure correct orientation: This is a right-hand unit only.

✅ Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Remove Old Adjuster:

    • Disconnect pushrod from clevis.

    • Pull out splined shaft from S-cam.

  2. Install New Adjuster (WG9100340057):

    • Slide splined end onto S-cam shaft until fully seated.

    • Secure with retaining clip or bolt.

  3. Reconnect Pushrod:

    • Reattach to clevis pin.

    • Apply light tension without pre-loading.

  4. Check Free Play:

    • Manually rotate adjuster back and forth — should move smoothly with “click” sound indicating ratchet engagement.

  5. Final Inspection:

    • Operate brakes several times at low pressure (~4 bar).
