Installation Instructions

  1. Preparation:

    • Lift the vehicle safely using jack stands; ensure rear axle is unloaded.

    • Remove wheels and disassemble the rear leaf spring front shackle assembly.

  2. Disassembly:

    • Loosen and remove mounting bolts securing LG9715521121 to the frame rail.

    • Extract the shackle pin and take out the old bracket.

    • Inspect surrounding frame area for cracks or deformation.

  3. Assembly:

    • Clean the mounting surface on the frame; remove rust or debris.

    • Install new bushings and grease them thoroughly.

    • Insert the new LG9715521121 bracket and align all holes precisely.

    • Insert high-tensile bolts (Grade 10.9 recommended); do not fully tighten yet.

  4. Torque Specification:

    • Final tightening torque: 140–160 N·m (for M14 bolts)

    • Use calibrated torque wrench; follow crisscross pattern

    • Recheck torque after 500 km of driving

  5. Lubrication Setup:

    • Attach grease gun to zerk fitting (if equipped)

    • Pump lithium-based EP2 grease until fresh grease appears at edges

    • Wipe off excess

  6. Final Check:

    • Ensure no interference with tires, brake lines, or suspension components

    • Lower vehicle and test drive cautiously
