FAW Truck Spare Parts 2919020-260 Rear lower reaction rod

The Rear Lower Reaction Rod, commonly referred to as the Lower Thrust Rod or Rear Push Rod, is a critical suspension linkage component in heavy-duty commercial vehicles such as heavy trucks, tractors, dumpers, and 6×4/8×4 chassis systems. Installed below the rear tandem axles, this straight or slightly curved rod connects the chassis frame crossmember to the rear axle housing, forming part of the complete axle location system.

Working in conjunction with the Upper V-Type Thrust Rod, the lower reaction rod controls longitudinal movement (axle walk) and lateral shift of the rear axle during acceleration, braking, and cornering. It ensures consistent wheelbase geometry, prevents driveline misalignment, and significantly reduces abnormal tire wear — especially under high-torque and fully loaded conditions.

Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel with precision-forged ball joints and durable rubber or polyurethane bushings, this component is engineered to withstand millions of dynamic load cycles in harsh environments such as mining, construction, and long-haul freight transport.
