SINOTRUK HOWO Truck Spare Parts Electromagnetic Solenoid Valve Part Number WG9719710004

The WG9719710004 Solenoid Valve is a critical electro-pneumatic control device used across Sinotruk HOWO and compatible heavy-duty trucks. Designed for 24V DC systems and capable of handling up to 0.8 MPa air pressure, it enables reliable automation of functions like cab lifting, PTO engagement, and differential locking.

With IP67 protection, long cycle life (>1 million operations), and rapid response time, it performs reliably in extreme environments ranging from arctic cold to desert heat.

Installation Instructions (Step-by-Step Guide)

⚠️ WARNING: Ensure air system is depressurized and power is disconnected before servicing.

✅ Step 1: Prepare the System

  • Turn off ignition and disconnect battery negative terminal.

  • Release pressure from air system by manually operating related functions (e.g., lower cab).

  • Close air supply valve if equipped.

✅ Step 2: Access the Valve

  • Locate the solenoid valve near the target actuator (e.g., behind dash for cab lift, near transmission for PTO).

  • Remove protective cover or bracket if necessary.

✅ Step 3: Disconnect Components

  • Unplug electrical connector (2-pin).

  • Disconnect air lines using proper tool for P99 fittings — do not pull hoses directly.

  • Label ports if replacing multiple valves.

✅ Step 4: Remove Old Valve

  • Unscrew mounting bolts or release clips.

  • Carefully extract the unit without damaging surrounding wiring.

✅ Step 5: Install New WG9719710004 Valve

  • Mount new valve securely using original hardware.

  • Reconnect air lines to correct ports:

    • IN (1) → From air tank (via regulator)

    • OUT (2) → To cylinder/actuator

    • EX (3) → Exhaust to atmosphere (ensure clear path)

  • Plug in electrical connector firmly.

✅ Step 6: Test Operation

  • Reconnect battery.

  • Apply 24V signal (manually or via switch).

  • Listen for audible "click" — indicates coil activation.

  • Confirm actuator movement (e.g., cab rises/lifts, PTO engages).
