Confirm correct fitment: Use SHACMAN EPC system to verify compatibility with your VIN/chassis.
Inspect new unit: Check for damaged braiding, dents in the bellows, or loose flanges.
Identify flow direction: Look for arrow marking (→) on the surface — must align with exhaust gas flow (engine → tailpipe).
Prepare mating surfaces: Clean both ends thoroughly; remove old gasket residue, rust, or carbon buildup.
Position the Flex Pipe:
Hold in place between upstream and downstream exhaust components.
Install in natural, unstressed state — no stretching, compressing, or twisting allowed.
Align Flanges:
Match bolt holes precisely.
Do not force alignment — adjust brackets or reposition piping instead.
Install New Seals:
Replace both left and right exhaust gaskets (DZ9112540411).
Never reuse old seals — leads to leaks and sensor faults.
Secure with Clamps:
Use new V-band clamps (DZ9112540006) or specified fasteners.
Torque evenly to 25–30 N·m (refer to service manual).
Final Inspection:
Visually check for proper alignment and clearance.
Start engine and listen for hissing, whistling, or popping sounds indicating leaks.
